6 eBikes are delivered in a high-quality, fully recyclable wooden container. The eBikes come from the Scott and Haibike brands and are among the best bikes on the market. Helmets and other basic equipment are also included.
This guarantees a high-quality e-bike experience. The eBIKE-BOX itself optionally has a photovoltaic system with which the e-bikes are supplied with electricity or charged. The eBIKE-BOX's additional infrastructure includes a high-quality service station and exchangeable batteries for eBIKE-BOX tourists “passing through”.

Frequently asked questions about renting an e-bike
How does the issue of bikes work?
The box is locked. The iBike Box partner company is responsible for issuing/receiving the bikes. Please report to reception, then an employee will open the box.
Are there helmets on site? Can I book helmets in addition? How much does the helmet cost?
Helmets are in the box and can be borrowed for an additional charge. You can find the prices in the booking process on the website.
Are there bike locks?
Bike locks can be borrowed on site.
Are the bikes equipped with lights?
The bikes are equipped with reflectors and comply with road regulations. Battery lights are usually not installed and can be booked additionally depending on the location.
Can I take my own child seat / child trailer with me? Is the child seat compatible?
Common models are compatible and can be assembled. However, we do not assume any liability for self-assembly or if your own child seat is broken.
Do e-bikes have to be returned to the box at night if they are to be driven over several days?
No, it is not absolutely necessary. However, you have to announce on site if you don't bring the bike back overnight.
How far can I get with the bikes? (Number of kilometers / battery power)
Depending on the route, the driving style and the set power level, one battery charge is sufficient for approx. 50 km in mountainous terrain to approx. 100 km in flat terrain with a low engine level. We generally recommend taking trips in standard or eco mode.
Can I cancel free of charge in bad weather or at very short notice?
Bad weather is not a reason for cancellation. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 1 week before the rental date by sending an email to [email protected]. After that, 70% of the rental fee will be withheld.
