The Dachstein Glacier
The new Dachstein panorama gondola transports its guests into the world of the glacier in just six minutes. A balcony was set up on the roof of the gondola for a special kind of alpine close-up experience. At the mountain station, at 2.700 m above sea level, visitors can expect a natural gem with an overwhelming view of the nearby and distant mountains. Active athletes will find ample opportunity on the Dachstein for climbing, paragliding or glacier hiking and - depending on the snow conditions - cross-country skiing, skiing and snowboarding. Attractions such as the Dachstein Sky Walk right at the mountain station of the Dachstein cable car, the ice palace, to name just a few, are always worth a visit!
Zipline Stoderzinken
Adventure and pure experience for families: Ride down into the valley in the new, over 2,5 km long ZipLiner or climb in Austria's largest adventure park! The brand new ZipLine Stoderzinken is the largest of its kind in Europe. The new airline flies from 1.600 m above sea level to the Gröbming adventure park, at an altitude of 900 meters. The principle of a ZipLine is simple: On 4 parallel tensioned wire ropes, you slide with your friends from the mountain into the valley without intermediate supports. At the Stoderzinken, with multiple safeguards, you can reach speeds of up to 121 km/h while flying over the treetops. This is a real test of courage for adults too.
Summer tobogganing
Fun & action guaranteed with mountain go-karting, summer tobogganing, slalom-karting, scooter or coaster. With these mobile pedestals you can get down to the valley quickly, silently and without energy. There are opportunities to do so on the Hochwurzen, in Ramsau-Vorberg and on the Ramsau Rittisberg.
